There are many bright, eager students, who often travel long distances after school just to attend classes. Rain or shine, their enthusiasm and dedication never waver. However, for some of these young adults, the dream of continuing their education beyond high school remains out of reach due to the high costs of university tuition, living expenses, and application fees.
Since 2015, our scholarship program has successfully helped nine students pursue higher education by covering tuition and living costs. We are proud to share that all of them have successfully graduated from their respective programs.
Today, we continue to support two students: one is attending university, while the other is a 4-year-old boy who lives with a disability. Unfortunately, Unfortunately, public schools are not equipped to meet his needs, and his family cannot afford the cost of private education on their own.
At SAE LAO, we assist these students with all the support we can give. However, as a grassroots nonprofit, we have limited resources to maintain this program every year. In order to support these students through all of the costs of their education journeys, we need your help!

Our scholarship students
Joulee joined our project after graduating from high school. Since his family was unable to support his higher education, he decided to dedicate nearly a year to our project, helping to reopen English classes after the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, he also became an invaluable part of our team, assisting with volunteer management.
His dream was to study IT and continue his education at the college level. In October 2023, that dream came true—our project proudly supported him in pursuing his studies at Vientiane Technical College. We cover his tuition fees, food, and living expenses, allowing him to focus fully on his education.
