The aim of the MITAPHAP project, including its restaurant and guesthouse, is to create jobs and provide high-quality training opportunities. This includes job training, capacity building, and skill development. The project operates with a diverse team comprising Lao and foreign staff who contribute to various aspects of project management. These responsibilities include managing volunteers, overseeing education initiatives, handling accounting, and gaining entrepreneurial experience by working across different departments.
We are committed to involving local community members not only as employees and students but also as leaders and innovators. All team members actively participate in decision-making and planning the project’s future to foster inclusivity and shared ownership.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand our initiatives by involving the local community in producing and selling handicrafts, running a student market, and promoting natural and local products to boost their income and enhance self-reliance
Our team consists of full time employees that works at Sae lao and an ever-changing group of volunteers from all over the world!
